WHAT ARE TAPAS?

The word Tapas comes from the Spanish verb Tapar, meaning "to cover." Legend says bartenders would place small plates of food over glasses of wine to keep the flies away. Over time, these simple bites evolved into a culinary tradition -- a way for flavors, and turn a meal into a social experience.
