WHAT ARE TAPAS?

Tapas get their name from the Spanish verb 'tapar' which means "to cover". Traditionally, small plates were used to cover the wine glasses of patrons to prevent flies from disrupting their drinks.


Today, we enjoy tapas similarly as many appetizers or family style dining. It creates a shared, social experience for the whole table when you're able to build a meal of all your favorites in smaller, more sensible portions.


At Flaming Margaritas, we recommend ordering at least 2-3 tapas per person to make a perfect feast at every table!
